Computer Information Technologies Degree Program


The Computer Infomation Technologies Degree Program prepares the graduate for employment positions that handle execution of interfaces required for operation of basic information system processing. This may include maintaining a record of processes that are run. Also monitoring processes for suspended data or data anomalies and taking action to resolve problems. Records problems that have occurred, such as down time and actions taken, and assists in research and resolution.

The Computer Programmer Degree Program prepares the graduate for employment positions. A programmer writes, tests, and maintains the detailed instructions, called programs, that computers must follow to perform their functions. They also conceive, design, and test logical structures for solving problems by computer. Many technical innovations in programming—advanced computing technologies and sophisticated new languages and programming tools—have redefined the role of a programmer and elevated much of the programming work done today.


Microsoft Office Specialist MOS certification is the premier Microsoft desktop certification, a globally recognized standard for demonstrating desktop skills. Microsoft recently revised the name of this certification program, formerly known as the Microsoft Office User Specialist (MOUS) program.

To earn the Microsoft Office (User) Specialist MOUS MOS certification for Microsoft Office or Microsoft Project, you must pass one or more certification exams.

The MOUS (MOS) Certification program offers certification tracks for a number of Microsoft Office suites.

  • Office MOUS or MOS Certification for XP
  • Office MOUS or MOS Certification for 2000
  • Office MOUS or MOS Certification for 97


This degree program prepares the graduate to take the certification exam at a Microsoft-authorized technical education center.
